About Us

We offer children:-

- A curriculum enabling each child to work towards their optimum development, in a way that suits them best.
- A high staff ratio, which enables more individual care and attention.
- Socialising opportunities with children and adults.
- Support of a key person.
- Opportunities for family members to be involved in the group’s activities.

Settling:-

Before your child begins with us we suggest you visit together, meet the staff and become familiar with the routine of the day. This gives you time to ask questions and helps your child to see what is expected. Settling in is a very important pare of learning. Sensitively approached, your child will gain confidence and feel secure. If your child becomes distressed we w ill contact you, so it is important to leave your contact number.

Key person :-

On joining your child will be allocated a key worker, who will be happy to liase with you concerning progress during their time with us. The key person will normally be available as you collect your child, for consultation.

Parent’s participation:-

The Pre-School is managed by a committee; there is an open invitation to all parents to attend meetings. These are normally held once a term, the staff will advise when the next one is due. Any parent can become involved, and volunteer to become an officer, or serving member.
Parent helpers/ volunteers are very welcome in sessions.

Photographs:-

The staff will regularly take photos of the children to inform profiles, and to evidence development during activities. These may be displayed in the setting from time to time.
